Draft of my music video- Radioactive

Audience feedback:
To get feedback, I arranged an audience of seventeen/ eighteen year olds. I then played my music video Radioactive, in which was the first time that they saw it, whilst they were taking down notes to inform me my areas to improve. I made the audience watch my music video in wide screen on an interactive whiteboard, as then they will be able to see the editing better and it would look at its most advanced, therefore if there were any faults, they could pick up on this easily.
They stated that they liked the idea of the flashback and how their was actually a flash included by my editing skills, however the areas that I have been told to improve is that there is too much slow motion and that other scenes are needed.

Teacher’s feedback:
My teacher’s feedback included two main things. My teacher mentioned that there is a fair amount of slow motion involved, however although there is a flashback included, there are some shots that are repeated quiet a lot.

My positive that we’re mentioned included the following:
-Good use of the colour scale (editing)
-Good camera skills- Lots of camera movements and angles
-Good use of the mirror technique (editing)
-Not having a storyline, liked how it flowed into different mise-en-scene; location.

Gathering the audience and teachers ratings and reviews on my music video I would take into further consideration. I would do this by pointing out what weaknesses they recognised and improve them to a suitable standard.

When the audience watched my music video, they completed a questionnaire.
The studied the results of the questionnaires, this is what I gathered:
Strengths:
-Colour use
-Camera angles
-Use of effects : The mirror image, slow motion, fast motion

Weaknesses:
-Repetition: Need to add more footage
-Too much slow motion
